Even better than a GBL?

GBL is Starbucks shorthand for a Gingerbread Latte, by the way. :)

I had a gingerbread milkshake at Red Robin's on Saturday night. Oh my. That was amazing. I let C have some. I think we're both hooked! Red Robin needs drive thrus!

Here's a recipe.

Gingerbread Shake

1½ oz. gingerbread syrup (which I need to dig out of the garage)
2 oz. milk
1 tablespoon Graham Cracker crumbs
14 oz. vanilla ice cream

Blend syrup, milk, ice cream.
Garnish with whipped cream, Graham Cracker crumbs, and a gingersnap.

Wow that does sound amazing--where did you get gingerbread syrup though? I don't think I"ve seen it at my usual syrup-dealers.

I tried it with just vanilla ice cream/milk and sprinkling ginger, cinnamon, and cloves in it.

It tasted similar to red robin's and has the same texture.
