I love my local library. Tonight I had some kid-free time and I was able to browse the "Friends of the Library" section which is where you can purchase used books for amazing prices and the proceeds go to the library. I found 4 very popular books and my total was $1.00. OK, so that isn't even the end of this amazing tip. :) I'm going to post 3 of these books (I'm keeping one) on Paperback Swap and soon I'll be receiving books in the mail that I want - for next to nothing!! So, I will end up with a book that would have cost me at least ten dollars new for the price of postage and 25 cents!
I love paperback swap. You make up a wish list, you enter the books that you have to give away and then you receive requests for your books. You mail them media rate for the price of $2.50 or less. You then receive a credit and can request books from other people. I'm not explaining it very well but the website does a better job. I really enjoyed that book. It's such an interesting good story. Have you ever seen the movie? I'd like to, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
